You will be responsible for the delivery of a Portering service to all hospital wards, departments and clinics within Murray Royal Hospital.

No formal educational qualifications are necessary as the post holder will be given the necessary training to undertake the job.

Reliability and a flexible approach to work are essential.

You will be required to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

NHS Lothian supports a managed Staff Bank for NHS Borders. All Staff Bank roles are to cover temporary shortages across NHS Borders. Work is offered on an "as and when required basis" with different shift patterns available to suit flexible working. There are no guarantees of a fixed number of hours each week as this is a demand led service.
