Accounts Assistant - Nicholls Countryside Construction - Group

Contract:
Full-Time - 40 hours a week ??

Responsibilities include:


  • Checking and logging Purchase Invoices
  • Matching Purchase Invoices to requisitions to ensure they are approved before payment
  • Producing payment runs and updating Purchase Ledgers
  • Resolving invoice queries with Suppliers and Customers
  • Raising Sales Invoices and setting up Direct Debits
  • Maintaining project payment schedules
  • Producing Supplier and Customer statements and assisting with creditors and debtors
  • Filing and data entry as required to support the daytoday administration
  • Liasing with team members and other teams in the business
  • Assisting with coordination of timesheets

Key Skills:


  • Must be a team player, willing to support and be supported by other team members
  • Must have purchase or sales ledger experience
  • Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Sage experience is preferred but experience with a comparable accounting system is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Selfmotivated to meet deadlines and confident enough to ask for help when necessary
  • You will be a positive and proactive individual with a sense of humour who will enjoy working within a dynamic finance team
