Registered Manager - Children & Young People

Northampton
£45,000-£48,000

Major Healthcare have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager for a client of ours based in Northampton.

This is a new 2 bed home, Social, Emotional Behaviour Difficulties or Learning Difficulties.

Hours: 09:00 - 17:00


Shifts:
Monday to Friday


Salary:
upto £48,000k per annum

The capability to form meaningful relationships and attachments with adolescents is a necessary skill of a Registered Manager with the ability to communicate and engage with a variety of stakeholders.

A Registered Manager must be able to demonstrate resilienceand work effectively within a team, or independently as required.


Good interpersonal skills are a necessity of a Registered Manager with the ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.

A Registered Manager must be able to prioritise their workload and that of their team, maintaining and monitoringaccurate records. They must be able to work effectively within a team and independently when required.

A Registered Manager must be able to demonstrate effective leadership and management skills as these are key to the role, as is an understanding of and experienceof adolescent and challenging behaviour.

A Registered Manager must meet the requirements for their own personal registration with Ofsted.


The post holder must hold a full driving licence and have the use of a vehicle as travelling may be required throughout the UK.

Applicants to the post should have an exemplary disciplinary record, be reliable and trustworthy, with a good attendance record.

Requirements:


  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Residential Child Care/ CYPW
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience of supervising and managing professional staff.
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification
  • 4 years working within Residential Childcare environment
  • Satisfactory Disclosure Check
Hold UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
