This is not an ideal role for graduates, and better for less experienced/qualified applicants since we are a social enterprise.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated & enthusiastic individual to join our busy workshop team.

The roles within this job will include:

Preparing assembled joinery for spraying
Denibbing joinery between paint coats
Assisting our wood machinists in the machining of timber.
Keeping the workshop clean & tidy.

The applicant should have the following skills and attributes:

Be able to work under own initiative or part of a team
Have excellent communication skills
Good attention to detail and standard of workmanship
Be reliable, conscientious and have good time keeping.

During the apprenticeship you will work towards your level 2 standard carpentry and joinery qualification over 12-18 month period.

Up to £17,000.00 per year
