Opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join a business based in Knutsford. The role will a salary up to £40,000 depending on experience.

Page Personnel are working with a growing and highly successful business. They are looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team at an exciting time.


Description

Payroll Manager responsibilities include:

  • Processing of payroll on various pay frequencies (monthly and weekly)
  • Process payroll changes e.g. new hires, terminations, tax codes
  • Registering new employees with HMRC
  • Corresponding with HMRC where necessary
  • Keeping up to date with changes in legislation
  • Ensuring payroll procedures are adhered to in accordance with Company audit guidelines.
  • Answering payroll related queries from internal and external parties.
  • Prepare reports for senior management, finance department
  • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc.
  • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and management
  • Submit reports and payments to pension providers
  • Updating the payroll system for changes to pensions

Profile

  • Previously worked within a Payroll leadership role
  • Required
  • Good working knowledge of HR and Payroll procedures
  • Required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Required
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Required
  • High attention to detail
  • Required
  • Ability to work efficiently towards deadlines
  • Required
