    Job Title: Team Member

     

    This is itsu, the leading Asian-inspired quick-service retail and grocery brand with a strong presence across the UK, Belgium, and France. We pride ourselves on serving fresh, high-quality food every day in our restaurants.

    We are constantly evolving and growing, both domestically and globally. Our mission is to provide an exceptional customer experience by delivering delicious food, innovative technology, and excellent service.

    This role supports the management team in running a smooth shop operation during the day, maintaining good relationships and communication with all the shop's team members.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain good relationships and communication with all the shop's team.
    • Work together to ensure the shop, kitchen, and delivery business meet itsu standards.
    • Attend and complete relevant compliance training and section training to learn about itsu standards.
    • Complete and keep up to date with the learning portal.
    • Communicate effectively with everyone in the team and customers.
    • Maintain required uniform standards and follow PPE requirements.

    Hospitality:

    • Know and follow the 6 Hospitality Steps at all times and Mystery Shopper standards.
    • Serve customers efficiently, politely, and quickly in an engaging manner.
    • Respond to customers' needs while delivering hospitable service.
    • FoH standards should be followed by maintaining beautiful displays, merchandising, and clean seating areas as per 'How To'.
    • Reduce queues through pace with a customer-first attitude.
    • Ensure products are served according to itsu standards.
    • Ask for help when needed to respond to customer questions and complaints.
    • Greet and acknowledge customers within the shop, offering assistance when needed.
    • Maintain delivery standards as per 'How to' and engage with our delivery drivers.
    • Use service bell when required.

    Quality:

    • Produce beautiful food following itsu standards in an efficient and safe environment.
    • Always follow the 5 Food Safety Focuses (5FSF) and 5 Food Quality Focuses (5FQF).
    • Follow FIFO standards and report any Out of Date (OOD) products found to the management team.
    • Adhere to all aspects of food safety and health and safety in accordance with the Law and itsu standards.
    • Always follow CTR standards.
    • Report immediately any quality issues you see to the management team.
    • Follow itsu standards as per 'How To' books.

    • Complete the Due Diligence Diary (DDD), correctly, when required.
    • Support the management team in achieving an EHO 5 stars rating.
    • Demonstrate and maintain a good knowledge of shop processes and standards relating to your role.
    • Maintain an immaculately clean and safe shop by following CATC and CAYG cleaning processes.

    Profitability:

    • Reach and maintain productivity guidelines in your section.
    • Report any maintenance issues to the management team.
    • Record and report any waste to the management team.
    • Operate and clean equipment as per 'How To' standards.
