Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join a dynamic team in Liverpool.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment and play a key role in payroll processing and information management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Handling the onboarding process for new employees, processing exits, and making necessary payroll adjustments.
  • Calculating statutory payments and deductions such as SSP, SPP, and SMP.
  • Processing benefits through salary sacrifice and managing pension processing.
  • Handling Auto enrolment and Assessment.
  • Submitting RTI submissions to HMRC.
  • Issuing accurate P45's and P60's.
  • Managing queries related to pay.
  • Assisting the Payroll Manager with adhoc payroll issues.
  • Posting the monthly payroll journal.
  • Supporting the P11D process.
  • Conducting basic MI reporting.

What We're Looking For:


  • Previous experience in a payroll officer role processing using recognised payroll software.
  • Confidence in running endtoend payroll processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial information.
  • Processdriven with the ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • Proactive approach.

Salary Range & Benefits
The salary is competitive paying around £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience. The company also offers excellent additional benefits.
