Accounts Assistant - Suffolk, United Kingdom - Prime Appointments
Description
Supporting the Finance Manager, your key duties in this Accounts Assistant role will include but are not limited to:
- Raising sales invoices.
- Assist in the recovery of all debts.
- Prepare weekly debtors reports.
- Entering purchase invoices and ensuring payments are made on time.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports.
- Manage balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of year end accounts.
- Prepare VAT returns.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
- 2+ years' experience within a similar accountancy role.
- Numerate individual with a focus on accuracy.
- Experience using Xero desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.

Although this is a remote role, applicants must be able to commute to an office in Bury St Edmunds twice weekly should the company choose to establish an office in future years.
