£23,000 or Negotiable dependant on experience
Location:3 Oaktree Place Marsh Barton, Exeter
Main purpose of the role
The Project Administrator will provide proactive and efficient administrative support to the Project and Estimating Team.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Planning and prioritising of workload for optimum effectiveness
- Raise purchase orders on our company system & compile detailed subcontract order paperwork
- Log project drawing revisions received, print & issue drawings to project team
- Upload project drawings to project system and maintain efficient document control
- Assist with the compiling of Health and Safety Documentation
- Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers
- Deal with queries where able and forward detailed accurate messages
- Review, develop and maintain company systems and procedures (computerised and manual) to meet the needs of the changing business
- General administration: Up to date contact details; prepare standard correspondence and documentation; filing manual and electronic, photocopying, scanning, shredding and archiving.
- Undertake any other duties as required, commensurate with the level of the post

Person specification
Knowledge and experience of:
- Working in a busy office.
- Prioritising own workload.
- Using MS packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- General Administration experience essential
- Experience of working within construction/service industry desirable but not essential
Skills and abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve and direct enquiries, where appropriate.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Keen to develop over a period of time with a willingness and ability to learn.
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week, 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday
