Hotel Receptionist._
THE ROLE
As a _
Hotel Receptionist_, you will be the first and last person the hotel's customers will see and interact with while visiting the hotel.
Your key duties will include:
- Checking guests in and out
- Taking payments directly as well chasing overdue payments
- Dealing with hotel and restaurant bookings
- Answering questions and dealing with complaints and queries
- Cash handling
The receptionist must be covered throughout the full day, so the you must be available for a combination of early (7.30am - 3.30pm) and late (3.30pm pm) shifts.
THE RIGHT PERSON
Having direct experience is crucial to excelling within this role.
As well as having transferable skills, the right person will:
- Remain calm under pressure
- Have excellent personal presentation
- Have exceptional communication skills & telephone manner
- Be flexible on shift patterns
Have a driving licence with access to a vehicle due to the remote location of the venue is a necessity._

Salary:
£9.50-£10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brighton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Receptionist: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Drivers Licence (and access to a vehicle) (preferred)
