Job Summary
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming and producing CNC parts using 2, 3 and 4th axis vmc. This position will also be responsible for inspecting parts to ensure they meet specifications. The position requires a strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming in general, experience of prototrak desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Programming CNC machines to produce parts that meet specifications using prototrak software.
- Inspecting and testing parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Operating CNC machines to produce parts that meet specifications on 2,3 and 4 axis vmc machines
- Troubleshoot issues with existing programs and suggest improvements for new programs.
- Ensure that production areas are clean and organized at all times.
- Ensure that all production areas comply with safety regulations.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on machines, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area by keeping shelves, cabinets, etc. organized; etc.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Time served apprenticeship
- CNC programming experience
- CNC operator experience
- Prototrak programming desirable
Job Types:

Salary:
£14.50-£16.00 per hour
