This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our experienced improvement team.

You will work across a wide range of services both clinical and non clinical, supporting staff to deliver key priorities using QI methodology.

From coaching front-line teams in continuous improvement methods, formal teaching and delivering workshops, this role will be both challenging and uniquely rewarding.

The Service Improvement Facilitator will play a key role in the following areas of support that we provide to the Trust:

  • Providing expert support for priority quality improvement programmes as agreed in the organisation
  • Contribute to developing 'quality improvement' capability and capacity in the organisation by contributing to formal teaching and supporting individuals and teams with their QI projects through the use of QI coaching
  • Supporting the further development and implementation of Quality improvement as part of our Trust Quality Strategy.

Main duties of the role will include:

  • To be expert in the use of quality improvement tools and techniques including Model for Improvement, PDSA cycles, process mapping, facilitation, demand and capacity analysis and patient/carer engagement
  • To increase the capacity and capability of teams/ individuals to lead and manage change by contributing to formal teaching programmes or sessions to develop and train staff on tools and techniques to support quality improvement and sustainability.
  • With the project sponsors, use a QI coaching approach to influence for results, work closely with these key stakeholders to design and support the implementation of change for the quality improvement intervention.
