About Our Client:
Our client a Highly Successful International Business with offices in multiple countries are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join the team based in Woking, Surrey, due to location its better if you're a driver
As the a Finance Assistant to join the team based in Woking, Surrey you'll be responsible for:
- Maintenance of accounting records monthly for 5 companies within the group, posting into Sage 50
- Updating cashflow balances daily
- Receivables updating and chasing outstanding monies.
- Process daily/biweekly payments
- Reconcile the bank, debtors and creditors, intercompany reconciliations.
- Help with the month end processes, assisting the Finance Manager with a wide range of tasks such as overheads, prepayments, accruals, commissions, posting journals, reconciling & reporting.
- Act as a point of contact for first level group accounting queries
The Successful Applicant:
- Ability to work as part of a team, and under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Accounting experience with good understanding of accounts
- Experience in FX is preferred but not essential
- Good knowledge & experience using Sage 50 preferred but not essential
- Previous Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience
- Good Excel skills.
- Have the drive to take ownership and responsibility for the quality and activity of their output.
- Ability to be proactive and provide solutions to problems.
- Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills
What's on Offer:
£28,000 - £32,000 per annum + 1 month target bonus based on performance.
25 days annual holidays plus bank holidays
Private Medical after probationary period completed.
