Reed is delighted to be working with a well-respected member of Aberdeen's maritime sector. The organisation provides an array of shipping services for oil and gas rigs across the north sea.

After a period of exponential growth, this is an exciting timeto join the company's finance time starting a new chapter.

The organisation is searching for an Accounts Assistant to join their base on the south side of Aberdeen.

The role includes processing invoices via the purchase ledger, sales ledger and will give you great exposure liaising with various stakeholders acrossthe business.


With this role, comes a hybrid working arrangement which will see you working three days in the office and two at home.

The role will include travel to other sites once per week.


Key Duties

  • Matching PO's to invoices
  • Processing purchasing invoices
  • Liaising with stakeholders across the business
  • Investigating and resolving complex cases
  • Updating project data onto Excel spreadsheets
  • Assisting with reconciling supplier statements
  • Supporting with sales ledger when required
  • Experience with a finance role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workloads
  • Experience with MS Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
