My client is building a world class network to serve residential customers and businesses across the East of England and beyond.

A successful start-up now in its second year, their leadership team is brimming with experience from some of the UK's leading telecommunications companies and they have an aggressive growth trajectory with bold and exciting ambition
They've already hired over 100 people and their first customers are now connected in Lincolnshire and Norfolk.

You'll be joining my client at an incredibly exciting time as they ramp up their rollout across more towns and start delivering the future of connectivityto the communities that need it most.

They are now seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Manager on a fixed term contract basis (c8months).

As a key member of the Marketing Acquisition management team, this role will own all non-digital marketing channels, including the PR and communicationsstrategy.

With responsibility for coaching and developing a small team, you will drive your agenda to ultimately increase my client's brand presence and build their customer base across the East of England.

You will be confident influencing at all levels across the business, and will balance highly data driven decisions with a creative flair.


Key responsibilities & accountabilities:

  • Own the following marketing channels (balancing ROAS, brand awareness and growth, as directed): Print media, Direct mail, Offline media space (billboards, busses, ect), Sponsorships and events.
  • Source and launch new offline marketing channels to drive growth.
  • Own the Brand delivery strategy.
  • Own the PR and communications strategy, working with PR agencies and your team to manage local, regional and national representation, with responsibility for Press release cycle management.
  • Contribute to the Acquisition strategy and budget direction.
Knowledge, skills & experience

  • An experienced manager and influencer, able to energise and coach a small team of executives.
  • Hugely enthusiastic to test, track, iterate.
  • Data driven, with a comprehensive understanding of building marketing investment strategies to increase shareholder value.
  • CX obsessed.
  • Good at working with external partners establishing and managing the contractual relationship.
  • Fiercely tactical.
  • Lots of experience in:
- 'Local' marketing, deep diving marketing tactics to the street level.

  • Product/brand launches in the telecoms industry or similar.
  • Marketing in a highly regulated market.
  • Comfortable in a fastpaced startup environment.
