A unique opportunity to begin a career in passive fire protection has opened up due to company expansion and increased work load.

The role consists of the following, although not limited to; assisting the team with the installation of fire doors, undertaking fire door maintenance and servicing, installation of passive fire protection systems, other carpentry and joinery related works.

Our company works solely for the social housing sector covering the Midlands region. Jobs are scheduled in carefully to allow for travel during the working day.

The role is aimed for someone who is newly qualified in carpentry/joinery, self employed and is willing to learn new skills in this niche area.

The role offers training and guidance with a view of progression over time into a fully fledged fire door installer.

Pay will be through the CIS Scheme on a subcontractor basis to be paid on the last day of each working month.

Rates negotiable depending on experience/qualifications.
