Monday - Friday, across 09:00 -17:00

£9.55 per Hour (+ Mileage)

Job Introduction


As a Mobile Catering Assistant in Kendal, you will use your own vehicle to travel to, and work from, any of our kitchens in the area to support our catering teams in every aspect of running a school kitchen, including serving school meals.

You will be able to work on your own initiative, with a passion for service and personal excellence to ensure a quality food service is delivered at all levels.

What you'll do:


  • Travel to, and work from, any of the kitchens in your 'area' as support is required
  • Prepare food and drink in a hygienic and safe manner, following assigned procedures at all times
  • Be punctual with your timekeeping; operating a quick and efficient catering service without compromising on quality of the service delivered
  • Monitor and advise on stock usage, ensuring food stocks don't run out
  • Ensure that catering preparation, service and storage areas are kept in a hygienic, clean, tidy and safe condition at all times
  • Ensure uniforms are worn at all times on site; displaying a professional image of our company

Requirements:

Previous cateirng/kitchen experience is desirable but full training will be given.

Additional Information


Due to the nature of the sites an Enhanced DBS check will be required and paid for by the Company.
