We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic
Facilities & Maintenance Assistant.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, security and safety of the premises and the security and safety of college, staff, students and visitors.

You will assist in the day to day operational activities of estates maintenance across all Barking and Dagenham College sites (located within Romford and Barking & Dagenham), and able to undertake a range of caretaking duties, including some heavy lifting.

You will be able to provide a customer focused estates and facilities service and maintain a friendly, inviting and secure environment.

Barking & Dagenham College is a vibrant and highly successful College in East London with circa 7,500 students, circa 500 established staff and a turnover of £35m.

The College offers routes into learning from entry level through to MBA level, including apprenticeships, higher level apprentices, higher education and job centre plus clients.
