Description

We are looking for an experienced Highly Specialist Respiratory Physiologist to proactively manage and develop a small service providing adult and paediatric respiratory and sleep physiology services within the Respiratory Function Laboratory in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.

The post holder will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary respiratory team, performing a wide range of complex diagnostic assessments in both respiratory and sleep disordered breathing.

The post holder will be responsible for organising clinics in conjunction with the outpatient and inpatient referral service providing reports on throughput, waiting times and possible areas for improvement for discussion at multi-disciplinary team meetings.

NHS Tayside has ambitions to develop the Pulmonary Function and Sleep Physiology Service into a highly functioning and quality service over the coming years.

Hours of work are: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30
