Principal required for a school in Newham to start in September 2023

Position Overview:

As a principal of a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school, you would be responsible for overseeing the school's operations, ensuring that the educational needs of students with disabilities or special needs are met.
This may include overseeing curriculum development and implementation, managing staff, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies, and working with families and other stakeholders to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key skills and qualifications for a principal of a SEND school can include:

Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of educators and staff
Knowledge and experience of working with students with disabilities or special needs
Understanding of relevant educational policies and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with families and other stakeholders
A relevant educational qualification, such as a PGCE or a Masters in Education
