Intervl are working with the UK's leading renewable utilities company as they develop their low-carbon offerings for their customers.

Having launched a new scheme in the domestic solar & battery storage world they are looking to build out the team.


With that being said we are looking for someone who has a surveying or technical solar background and has transitioned into a more sales and commercial function.

This person will be the first technically biased solar head within the department.


What you'll be doing

  • Training new starters, regardless of whether they are experienced or not.
  • Manage the commercial performance of the team and set relevant KPI's
  • Have ownership over the sales and technical survey teams' performance within the solar wing of the business.
  • Manage commission payments.
  • Be responsible for implementing and improving the sales and survey processes.
  • Working closely with the product teams to improve offerings and ensure we provide a bestinclass service & product.
  • Optimise the sales processes and ultimate customer journey.

What you'll need

  • Previous experience in solar surveying or technical solar sales
  • Strong technical knowledge around PV surveying
  • Experience of managing and ideally growing a team
  • The ability to see the bigger picture and deliver at pace
  • Deep knowledge of the renewable energy sector is a benefit
- previous experience managing budgets and completing forecasts

  • Be a selfstarter and be able to operate at a high level independently
This is a remote role however, will involve visits to customer sites.
