You will be a qualified teacher and SENDCO and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the use of ICT and will have a proven track record of leadership, line management and pastoral care.

In addition, you will possess, excellent classroom practice and the experience of already being a SENDCO in a similar context.

Reporting to the Primary Phase Headteacher, you will lead, manage and effectively deploy staff and resources within the Primary Phase SEND provision, monitor and evaluate the development of learning and teaching strategies for children with SEND and ensure that staff are provided with relevant information and training relating to the support of these children.

Your team, including an Assistant SENDCO, three Specialist LSAs and a number of LSAs across all year groups, has a range of skills, knowledge and expertise.

You will also work closely with the Secondary Phase SENDCO and SEND team.
