We need a self-motivated individual with good communication skills who is enthusiastic about driving change and maximising productivity whilst still having the all-important work/life balance.

We are a small knit family run company and can offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking, casual dress and annual company social events.

Full time hours per week - Monday - Friday 8am-4pm

Salary £23-26k (dependant on applicant and experience)


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Acting as secondincommand to the Manager and taking care of all duties in their absence.
  • Assisting the Manager with operational issues.
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
  • Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
  • Taking inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Digital filing of receipts and purchase invoices
  • Raising and processing purchase invoices on the company's internal system Merlin
  • Recording and reconciling of petty cash expenditure, and processing of staff expense forms
  • Reviewing, processing and reconciling staff credit card expenses and travel expenses
  • Assisting in the preparation, processing and recording of monthly staff salaries
  • Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
  • Undertaking other finance administrative tasks and general support to the Finance Manager as required

Personal Specification

Essential

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional experience of general administrative and finance tasks
  • High level of numeracy and financial awareness
  • A high level of computer literacy and knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently, flexibly and to use own initiative to solve problems proactively.
  • Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage workloads, prioritise and work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work with complete confidentiality.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
