We need a self-motivated individual with good communication skills who is enthusiastic about driving change and maximising productivity whilst still having the all-important work/life balance.
We are a small knit family run company and can offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking, casual dress and annual company social events.
Full time hours per week - Monday - Friday 8am-4pmSalary £23-26k (dependant on applicant and experience)
Roles and Responsibilities
- Acting as secondincommand to the Manager and taking care of all duties in their absence.
- Assisting the Manager with operational issues.
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
- Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
- Taking inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
- Digital filing of receipts and purchase invoices
- Raising and processing purchase invoices on the company's internal system Merlin
- Recording and reconciling of petty cash expenditure, and processing of staff expense forms
- Reviewing, processing and reconciling staff credit card expenses and travel expenses
- Assisting in the preparation, processing and recording of monthly staff salaries
- Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
- Undertaking other finance administrative tasks and general support to the Finance Manager as required
Personal Specification
Essential
- Excellent interpersonal skills and good written and verbal communication skills
- Professional experience of general administrative and finance tasks
- High level of numeracy and financial awareness
- A high level of computer literacy and knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently, flexibly and to use own initiative to solve problems proactively.
- Organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage workloads, prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Ability to work with complete confidentiality.
- Ability to work as part of a small team.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
