    Job Description

    We are currently supporting a UK-wide legacy infrastructure decommissioning programme for several of the UK's largest telecoms providers. As part of this programme, we are seeking experienced Cabling Decommissioning Technicians to join our team.

    This is a hands-on field-based role ideal for individuals with strong technical skills and experience removing legacy coaxial infrastructure from headed and switch room environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Recovering and removing coaxial cabling from overhead trays and switch rooms
    • Conducting basic signal testing to confirm circuit disconnection
    • Working at height using ladders or platforms, adhering to a safety-first approach
    • Labelling and documenting recovered cables and hardware

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in coax or telecom decommissioning
    • Comfortable working at heights and in structured cabling environments
    • Able to work independently and follow technical procedures
    • Flexible and reliable, with a strong attention to detail
