Redditch

£25,000 - £27,870 D.O.E

Monday to Thursday - 8am to 5pm, Friday - 8am to 12.15pm

Job Purpose:


To ensure all Components and Materials are available in line with the MRP demand and Production plans to meet customer demands on time.


Day to day duties:


  • Raising and expediting of PO's and schedules to meet all Production build plans.
  • Review requirements based on MRP demand and respond to customer and production changes taking into account component stock policy, supplier manufacturing lead times, transport, machine capacity, tooling capacity and holidays.
  • Maintain order file on the AS400 to ensure accurate data, especially arrears not supplied.
  • Review daily and monthly shortage reports and take necessary actions.
  • Report all stock discrepancies to Assistant Manager for investigation and corrective actions.
  • Control design change and model run outs to achieve stock policy.
  • Communicate at all levels within the Company, and also externally with Suppliers.
  • Conform to QMS~IATF compliance with departmental and Company procedures.
  • Management of suppliers in terms of adherence to schedules, labelling, paperwork, capacity issues, transport, packaging, etc.
  • Ownership and accountability of the following KPI's in line with financial year goals:
  • OTD, Inventory (DOH) and transport (Inbound and Outbound).
  • Attending meetings, projects, daily shortages, supplier escalation, change management, production regarding stock builds, etc.
  • Any other duties requested by the Assistant Manager.

Specific skills and experience to role:

  • A pro-active approach to problem solving with an ability to work well under pressure.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Motivated and organised with a proactive approach.

Qualifications:


  • Supply Chain and Operations Management
  • Level 3 Diploma. Advantageous.
