Join us

We are looking for an enthusiastic People & Culture Senior Advisor or Manager to join us to cover a period of maternity leave.

In this varied standalone role you will report to the COO and be part of the leadership team. You will deliver a series of people projects while also managing the day-to-day HR activities.

You will be happy to switch between the strategic and the operational (and everything in between) and will bring ideas and initiative to the table to make the role your own.

You might be working at HR Manager or Business Partner level already or be an experienced HR Advisor ready to take a step up.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants experience in tech, a start up/SME and on a leadership team.

We are targeting a start date in April and this contract will run until early May 2024. This role is part-time 28 hours a week with a flexible, hybrid working pattern.

Requirements:

You will make an impact by:

  • Being the go-to expert for all people and culture queries
  • Managing the full spectrum of daytoday HR activities
  • Reporting on the status of people and culture related projects and activity to the Leadership Team and other stakeholders
  • Being a key culture carrier to ensure pureLiFi is a brilliant place to work
  • Maintaining relationships with 3rd parties/suppliers
  • Ensuring legal compliance, auditable processes and ethical employment practices at all times

Anticipated projects/priorities during this period include:

  • Driving employee voice and engagement activities
  • Embedding and maximising the use of an HRIS and ATS which will be implemented in Q
  • Adapting and developing people processes to complement the HRIS and to support ISO 9001 certification
  • Supporting Managers with recruitment activity including several hard to fill technical roles
  • Advising Managers on learning and development opportunities for their team members
  • Supporting the Leadership Team with the development of a succession planning approach

You will thrive in this role if you:

  • Are CIPD level 7 qualified (or working towards)
  • Have the breadth of HR knowledge and experience required to perform in a standalone capacity, including employee relations, culture and engagement, recruitment, L&D, performance management, benefits etc.
  • Have experience of supporting managers up to and including Csuite
  • Enjoy engaging with a diverse employee group, including engineers and colleagues from around the world
  • Are an adaptable selfstarter with outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Enjoy coming up with new ideas and putting your own stamp on a role

Benefits

We can offer you:

  • A closeknit, multidisciplinary team in Edinburgh representing over 15 different nationalities
  • A 4 day week with a flexible working policy allowing for a mix of home and office working
  • Salary that reflects your knowledge and experience
  • 35 days holiday allowance (pro rata) to give you time to reenergise
  • Private medical insurance to keep you healthy
  • Life Assurance and Income Protection Insurance for peace of mind
  • Pension Scheme contributions so you can save for the future
