We are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our client's busy and growing Property Services company in West London.

Our client specialises in both residential and commercial projects, with the focus being on more traditional, modernand heritage buildings. Working Business to Business, my client works with many Surveyors, Architects and Property Consultants.


Working hours:

As a Contracts Manager, you'll be required to work Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


The successful Contracts Manager will be offered:

  • £60,000
  • £70,000 basic
  • Gov Nest pension
  • 20 days annual leave, plus national holidays and Christmas shutdown and long service extra days.

To be considered for the Contracts Manager role you must have:

  • Solid knowledge of scaffolding regulation, construction, and inspection, and comfortable with scaffolding structures at height.
  • Able to work with drawings and have a good understanding of heritage, traditional, and modern buildings, structural works, all roofing types, masonry works, ornate features and façade cleaning
  • Minimum 15 years of industry experience
  • Minimum of 5 years working in London in a similar position
  • Trade and site management background or a constructionrelated degree or HND
  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and ideally asbestos aware
  • MCIOB would be preferred but not essential
  • Driving licence
  • Sound knowledge of CDM 201
  • Experience in JCT contracts, RFI's issued and closed out

As a Contracts Manager, your role will involve:

  • Write construction phase plan, RAMS, construction programmes, monitor progress, minute meetings, variation control, deliver within programme and progress reports
  • Work closely with Quantity Surveyors, including procurement schedules, budgets and reporting
  • Subcontractor management assessment, onboarding, prestart, onsite and closeout
  • Delegate to and support Site Foreman, regular contact essential
  • Ensure that an adequate workforce is available and utilised
  • Client stakeholder communication, meetings, and expectation management
