Overall Purpose of the Role:


Working in fast paced environment, ensuring all production lines have enough materials on lines to achieve best output while following all Health and Safety procedures.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Pick and bring components to lines in accordance with works order paperwork issued by Warehouse department.
Work closely with Production and Warehouse Departments to locate components in specific locations.
Work closely with Production team to provide lines with required works order picks, both in Liquids and Assembly departments.
Picking componentry from Warehouse locations in accordance with requisition forms provided by Cell

ManagersWrapping finished goods pallets on a pallet wrapper and locating pallets in warehouse locations.
Ensuring there are enough required pallet stacks on lines for Production to use.
Use PPT to move pallets around Warehouse and Production areas.
Follow departmental and role specific SOP's and SSOW'sKeeping the working environment clean by adopting Clean as You Go principles.
Ensure H&S, COSHH processes and procedures are always adhered to.
Follow all GMP requirements.

Ensure that any problems that may affect safety or quality are reported in timely manner to Health & Safety Manager and Department Manager.

Promote good interpersonal relationships with other team members, management, and other departments to work effectively to ensure delivery of production targets.

Suggest improvements within Production Area and labouring team.


Experience & Qualifications:


Skills and Experience:


  • PPT Licence
  • Forklift license preferable but not essential
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to pick orders from paperwork.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Attention to detail
