About the Trust
Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust is one of only three dedicated children's hospital trusts in the UK and provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services.
We provide a full range of services for residents of Sheffield and South Yorkshire as well as specialised services for patients from across the United Kingdom.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Responsibility for supporting several highlevel meetings
- Preparatory work such as premeetings, generating agenda, quality controlling reports
- Drafting reports as required
- Attending meetings and monitoring the governance requirements for the meeting
- Postmeeting activity such as drafting minutes, circulating and following up on actions.
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong administration skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
