About The Role
The Social Media Officer is an integral part of the Digital team at Sense.

You'll be managing our social media channels, promoting stories of the people we support and encouraging greater awareness of our work.

To manage the main Sense social media channels, schedule and post content, and engage with followers.
To deliver and build on the social media strategy, to increase engagement and acquire more followers and supporters.

To work with key stakeholders to integrate social content into all marketing efforts and ensure content aligns with organisational and specific project strategies.

Support the digital team on digital advertising by boosting posts as appropriate and supporting wider social campaigns.
Provide cover for the digital team (e.g. when they are on leave), where necessary taking on their responsibilities and liaising with colleagues and contacts on outstanding work.
Work with the communications team to ensure that the digital asset library system is maintained, with material uploaded and referenced correctly Key skills and experience
1+ years in a similar digital role(s).
Experience of managing corporate social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram
Experience using social media management software, such as Sprout
Experience of providing training and support for colleagues.
Ability to write and edit sharp, accessible, concise copy.
Ability to building relationships and assisting colleagues. Friendly and approachable.
Ability to clearly and helpfully guiding and training non-technical staff.
