Job Title:
Stores Person

Hours of Work: 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Salary:
Negotiable

Main Duties

General warehouse duties to include:

Maintaining the uninterrupted flow of goods in and out of our warehouse
Checking off deliveries, receipting of same onto system and goods out including processing delivery notes on bespoke system (NAV) and using carrier's websites for parcel dispatch and tracking
Preparing and packing orders for dispatch and collection
Performing inventory checks ensuring accurate records are always maintained
Printing delivery notes on company software system (NAV) and scanning signed POD's to shared drive
Communicating and cooperating with colleagues / supervisor
Keeping our warehouse and showroom clear, clean and tidy, ensuring any potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently
Any other duties required by management.
Good level of physical fitness in order to safely undertake the demanding requirements of the role
Ability to work to deadlines and targets, and to effectively prioritise own workload
Flexible, cando attitude in their approach to work
Exemplary customer service skills
Possess good IT skills and have experience of using computers.
Minimum of 4 GCSE's, including English and Maths (Grades A-C) or equivalent an advantage
The ability to demonstrate working experience in a warehouse environment an advantage
Forklift experience / licence & Reach truck licence preferred
Previous experience of operating bespoke inventory computer software an advantage
Possess a full, clean UK driving licence an advantage
