Neon is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic individual to make a significant contribution to the continued growth and success of the UK business company.

The role of UK Commercial Officer is a key role within the Commercial Function, supporting our UK Sales Capability.

This role is reporting to the Head of Commercial.


Description of Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and delivering the UK Commercial Office based activities:_

Working along side the UK Commercial Team to ensure the appropriate execution and compliance of our commercial activities in wholesaler, retail and hospitals:_

  • Ensuring wholesaler inventory levels are maintained for the Neon UK portfolio
  • Establishing the evolving purchasing parameters and ensuring compliant purchasing by pharmacy for Brand Equalisation Deals
  • Ensuring compliant purchasing by hospital for Contracted Lines

Reporting Commercial Function performance:


  • Developing and presenting commercial performance metrics in line with the needs of the Commercial Leadership, to ensure appropriate information is available for decision making.
  • Owning the reporting process of all DHSC and controlled drug routine reporting

Commercial Insight process ownership:_

  • Utilise existing and new external data sources to provide regular commercial insights to the UK Commercial Team, in the areas of competition, pricing and product/therapy area pharmaceutical usage
  • Through insight generation, support the commercial assessments of new Business Development acquisition targets
  • Inbound enquiries:_
  • Under the guidance of Neon's Operations Manager, support the customer inbound enquiries process.
  • Ad hoc project based activities:_
  • This role is designed as a role to support the learning and development of pharmaceutical commercial team members. To support this, we would look for incremental projectbased work opportunities to support this development objective.

Knowledge / Skills / Attributes

  • Selfdriven, takes ownership and demonstrates high levels of personal accountability.
  • Capable of thriving in a fastpaced, challenging, entrepreneurial and teamoriented environment.
  • You will be entrepreneurial, highly commercial and results driven with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Proven Data Analysis and reporting experience.
  • Good Excel skills are essential
  • Pharmaceutical sales, marketing & operations background, preferable but not essential.
  • Understanding of GDP and SOPs, MHRA and other compliance requirements, preferable but not essential.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
Up to £32,000.00 per year
