It's an exciting time at AXA Health, with significant investment planned to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes.

As part of this, we're looking for talented individuals to join our Cancer Care team on a permanent basis.


As Cancer Care Advisor, you will provide our customers with an excellent claims experience through the effective management of the claims assessment processes.

We're adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and either our Glasgow, Tunbridge Wells or Bristol office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

You'll spend 2 days per week in the office and the rest of your time working from home.


What you'll be doing:


  • Consistently achieve all performance targets including productivity, accuracy and quality levels. Manage and proactively address/ act on feedback, whilst adhering to FCA, data protection and regulatory requirements
  • Positive and empathetic interaction with our customers, proactively handling their calls, resolving queries and guiding members to ensure they receive the correct treatment available in line with their AXA Health policy
  • Taking full ownership of all customer interactions, investigating and providing solutions to customer enquiries, or gathering full information and escalating to the relevant business area or manager where required
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate records of customer interactions are created and maintained on AXA systems
  • Fully understand the processes and procedures within your team, including how you contribute to the team targets and how to deal with customer complaints
  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with customers, your department, key stakeholders and clients (internal and external)
  • Continually look for ways to improve the service you provide, identifying any problems with processes, suggesting solutions and developing knowledge of our Private Medical Insurance products
  • Actively participate in department and team meetings and business wide projects which impact the team as required

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
