At Abbott Diabetes Care in Witney, we have a fantastic opportunity for
two internship positions within our Regulatory Affairs team.

The role responsibilities and the requirements to be successful for the role are as follows:


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Supporting the regulatory intelligence process which seeks to identify new and changing regulations, standards and guidance governing the medical devices industry and analyse how these changes may impact the company's processes and products.
  • Developing and maintaining awareness of the relevant regulations, standards and guidelines.
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
  • Supporting the preparation of scientifically sound regulatory submissions.
At the end of the internship you will be capable of:

  • Providing knowledgeable input on the regulations and guidelines governing the medical device industry.
  • Maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System at the site in accordance with divisional and corporate requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Working in cross functional teams to achieve common goals.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Successful completion of the first two years of a Life Sciences / Engineering degree
  • Interest in Regulatory Affairs and how this function contributes to provision of safe healthcare products
  • IT skills (Microsoft office)
  • Requirements to sign an internship

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
