Key Accountabilities


Work for one of the largest Alternatives platforms in Europe and worldwide with more than €190bn in asset under management in real estate, private debt, alternative credit, private equity, and infrastructure.

Furthermore, the CRE debt platform is a leadingnon-bank lender, managing over €23bn in AuM in Europe and the US with a track record of over 20 years.

The platform has considerable capital to deploy and is a top capital raiser with €15bn raised over the past 5 years.

The young, entrepreneurial, and internationalteam is split between London and Paris. The role will be based in London.

Transaction Analysis

  • Participate in the origination, review, modelling, structuring, underwriting and execution of Real Estate debt transactions across the investment spectrum and gain knowledge of the diversity of sectors (Office, Retail, Hotel, Residential, Logistics and alternatives,such as student housing, data centres, life science) and debt instruments (Loans/Bonds/securitization) across Europe and the US.
  • In order to prepare and present Investment Committee Memorandums and in relation with the Asset Management & Transaction team, produce thorough Real Estate investment analysis, create tailored cashflows/valuation models to simulate various scenarios
  • Assist fund managers in managing key transaction workstreams (analysis, negotiations, due diligence, IC presentation, managing internal and third parties)
  • Supervise Junior staff who will assist in the investment process

Company Analysis

  • Elaborate short memos to improve the team's knowledge on specific topics but also produce thorough corporate and financial analysis of Property Companies, or of specific sponsors and tenants as part of Investment Committees' preparation

Portfolio Management & Monitoring

  • Assist fund managers in the daily management of their specific funds which includes participating in their monitoring (portfolio performance, derivatives, cash management, reporting to clients, followup of borrowers/agents requests) of the funds. Thosetasks will be performed using fund management software and in collaboration with FMCG team.

Supervising of junior resources

  • Training and mentoring of junior staff

Development

  • Involved in the team's strategic development and participate in the fit of each strategy with current market conditions
  • Participate in the fundraising process of new funds and products

Education/Qualifications

  • Leading business schools, engineering schools or universities (end of studies students preferred). A specialization in Real Estate is also appreciated

Experience

  • Currently working in a Real Estate (debt) team of an investment bank or fund, with experience in modelling, structuring and underwriting equity or debt transactions

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven financial analytical skills
  • Fluency in English required, French proficiency is a plus
  • Advanced skills in Excel (modelling). Knowledge of Bloomberg is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge in Real Estate
