Job Introduction

DAC Beachcroft is looking to recruit an additional Case Administrator to join our Motor Injury Team within our Claims Solutions Group (CSG).


Our large multi-jurisdictional team, whose clients are a mix of leading names in the insurance industry as well as household name corporates, deal with all aspects of defendant litigation, to include catastrophic injury, pre-emptive advice and dispute resolution.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the setup of new files in the case management system
  • To assist with the running of files to ensure deadlines are met and cases managed proactively to conclusion
  • Ensure work is carried out effectively to meet the needs of the clients and the commercial requirements of the firm to include:
  • Adherence to internal and client SLAs and KPIs
  • Achievement of agreed financial targets
  • Assisting with MI completion
  • Assisting with updating Client portals
  • Diarising Court directions
  • Updating CRU certificates
  • Obtaining and chasing medical records,
  • Submitting payment requests
  • Chasing orders and settlement cheques
  • Liaising with Courts, Opponent Solicitors and other Third Parties
  • Completing basic legal forms
  • Organising and preparing for Counsel instructions
  • Other administrative duties, as required
  • IT literate
  • Good telephone manner
  • Organised and able to prioritise and manage a constantly changing workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to make decisions within own areas of responsibility
  • Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision
  • A cooperative team player who is able to work effectively within a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach to their work
  • Experience of using a file management/ finance systems is preferred
  • Demonstrates alignment with the Firm's Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
