Job description

We are looking for a Part Time Store Assistant to join our team. The vacancy is for 24 hours per week. If you have retail experience and an interest in pets we would love to hear from you

This is a retail role and will involve weekend working.

An interest or experience in Puppy/Dog Training would be greatly beneficial.

Job Purpose:

Responsible for demonstrating industry leading service and advice in the pursuit of total customer satisfaction.

To support in the ordering, replenishment and promotion of store stocks and in delivering a friendly, supportive and well presented retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

To help and support each other in the delivery of exceptional customer service
To ensure you are fully up to date on all weekly communications
Promote & support Service led events within the store
Have Keyholder responsibility when required by the Store Manager
Deliver exceptional Retail Store Standards across all customer facing and 'back of house' areas
Execute changes to promotions, campaigns and events in a timely and accurate manner.
Deliver till point conversion performance ahead of targets set
Actively promote pet knowledge and understanding
Ensure a good understanding of all new products is actively sought
Check and action out of date stocks
Ensure personal compliance with all company policies and procedures relating to the control of Cash, Stock, Store and Staff are in place and adhered to
Ensure all Health & Safety personal compliance is up to date
Risk Assessments, First Aid, Fire Safety, Staff Safety
Any other reasonable duties as required by line manager as appropriate
