The ARMS Team is responsible for resolving contacts made to Adult Social Care and deciding on the next pathway for the person being referred.

The service is very busy due to the nature of the work undertaken and therefore you must be resilient and able to work well under pressure as well as being comfortable speaking to people by telephone and inputting information into our client database.

Contacts are received from the public, partner agencies and other organisations who are seeking advice, support, and guidance from Adult Social Care.

You will need to have experience of working for Adult Social Care or a related organisation and with vulnerable adults.

You will be expected to process and respond to enquiries and establish information to assist you in making a decision on the next steps for the contact.

It is essential that you can communicate effectively with the public, take and record accurate information and to navigate IT systems.
