Catalent Pharma Solutions are seeking to recruit a
Technical Print Operator to join the busy team at our
Swindon facility.
The objective of this role is to facilitate the daily operation of the stereo, documents and digital printing processes in an effective and cost-efficient manner, reporting directly to the Technical Print Section Head to ensure on time delivery of items to production.
The
Technical Print Operator will deliver a first-class service to both internal and external customers and be responsible for all aspects of Quality and GMP.
The Role
- This role is accountable for managing the highest standards with regard to Health, Safety & Environmental deliverables and efficient materials processes.
- Facilitate laser engraver and digital printing operations that comply with GMP.
- Complete a daily walk of each active production line checking document, stereo, blank requirements
- Preparation of stereo printing mats to meet the Production Schedule
- Manufacture, checking, approval and control of printing mats for production
- Maintenance and generation of SOPs/SMRs relevant to the printing mat process
- Training of personnel in the use of the HAPA 532 laser engraver or digital printer
- Generate and distribute batch manufacturing records (BMRs) in line with the finite schedule
- Use of PASx system for EBR's and SFO/KPI system for reporting metrics
- Use and maintain the Production Schedule, track all batches through the manufacturing process
- Experience within a technical printing role would be advantageous
- Digital Print Experience would be advantageous
- IT Literate
- Strong attention to detail
- Literate in, and/or willing to become fully trained in the use of Adobe Acrobat and Illustrator to assist in artwork designs within the Technical department.
- Willing to maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness via an embedded 5S program.
- Experience in JDE, Qumas or Trackwise preferred
