Ormiston Denes Academy is at an exciting stage of its journey, with a recent Ofsted report and results which demonstrate its continued improvement Ormiston Denes is going through one of the most exciting times in its long history.
In this role you will be responsible for the pastoral welfare and behaviour of the students within your year group.
You will ensure that everyone's safety, happiness, and well-being is at the top of our priorities through the provision of high-quality care, challenge, guidance, and support backed by a supportive Head of Year and SLT (Senior Leadership Team).
As the main point of contact for our students and their families, you will be central to providing support that is responsive to individual needs and circumstances enabling students to overcome personal barriers, broaden horizons, raise expectations, and develop students into successful learners.
You will be instrumental in supporting the raising of the quality of teaching and learning, lead initiatives that will result in a rapid improvement in standards of achievement and behaviour that put the individual needs of our students at the heart of everything you do.
If you have excellent organisational, interpersonal skills and understand the needs of young people, we would like to hear from you.
Experience of working with children or young adults in an educational environment would be an advantage but is not essential as training and support will be provided.
