Description

About the role

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for embedding a culture based on respect and dignity for our tenants, providing supervision and clear management to your team.

You will also oversee the development and implementation of support plans designed to provide meaningful choice and support to tenants, so that they can obtain and access services to help them lead the life they want as independently as possible.

We are looking for people who will instil a culture of continuous improvement, through dialogue with tenants and their families, staff and the management team.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in managing and developing staff, alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Each of our services has its own character and our team are fundamental in creating a happy and trusting culture which our tenants are proud to call home.

This role will be based in our service based in Horsforth, LS18, namely Beech House, which will provide a secure and safe home to our tenants to enable them to learn or regain the skills to live independently.

What you'll need to succeed

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has an interest in mental health and is looking to develop their career in adult social care.

If you have the right attitude for our organisation, you will be supported by a programme of continuous training and development.

The key is the ability to demonstrate a passion to deliver excellent service to vulnerable adults in a dignified manner.

You will need to be able to work independently as well as within a team and have the confidence to interact with tenants with patience and compassion.

To meet our commitment to providing safe, high-quality services to our tenants, we will complete an enhanced background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, which will include a check of the Adult Barred list, once an offer of employment is made.
