These posts are available from August 2023 and are based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with a tenure of 12 months.

Applications are welcome from doctors who have completed the Foundation Programme and are considering a career in anaesthesia/critical care, or those who have completed core training and are looking for something different prior to the next stage of their career.

The post holder will be based in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This job has an 80:20 split of time between clinical and non-clinical duties.

Clinical duties will involve the routine and emergency care of level 2 and level 3 patients within the QEUH Critical Care unit.

This will be on a separate rota (with prospective cover) from the two existing rotas staffed by trainees on rotation to the department.

You will work shifts including, nights and weekends, in a working pattern of a Band 1A (50%) New Deal-compliant rota.
