As a PMO Manager you will build and drive a PMO team to support Uniserve's Property growth Strategy.

You'll manage the delivery of an ongoing portfolio of projects from New Builds, M&A's to smaller operational projects that have many interdependencies withspecialist elements.

You will have senior experience in delivering both projects and programmes and be confident and competent working with stakeholders across the various business units.

While this is a senior role, this is a small department, and you willbe a hands-on 'do-er' as well as a leader.


You will:

  • Effectively manage and control the capital programme to ensure execution within agreed parameters (for example budget and time) and in accordance with organisational quality and standards.
  • Build and maintain the property programme plan.
  • Be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple work streams and engagements
  • Build strong relationships within crossfunctional teams.
  • Manage milestone reporting and produce monthly metrics overview.
  • Manage the weekly Property call for senior leadership updates.
  • Manage the weekly workstream calls to monitor progress.
  • Manage the weekly stakeholder calls to provide updates but also follow up with actions / additional info and decisions required.
  • Manage the risk register and arrange special sessions to work through the challenges.
  • Ensure that all business changes and activities are actioned in accordance with the Property quality and standards metrics.
  • Evaluate and review progress and performance to ensure continuous improvement and work with stakeholders to generate and hold a forward view of requirements including services and resources.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is always delivered across the property function.

We're looking for:

  • You will be an organised, enthusiastic and innovative person with previous experience in a programme or similar deliveryfocused role that can communicate at all levels.
  • You will be able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities without compromising your keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • You have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • You are a strong relationship builder and communicator with great senior stakeholder engagement, with the ability to negotiate, persuade and influence business decisions.
  • You must have a good understanding of the property development and construction industry and an understanding of Logistics would be an advantage.
  • You will have extensive experience of managing & leading multifaceted programmes in complex, fast paced environments.
  • You will have the ability to use commercial judgment and experience to balance risk, resolve conflicts of interest and find resolutions to support longterm business benefits.
  • You are analytical, and you can prioritise and communicate to stakeholders in business key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve goals.
