Description
ETC International College is looking for dedicated night porters to take on reception duties and to protect the security and safety of the junior residence and its residents.
Shifts may be scheduled between 17:30 - 08:30, Monday - Sunday.ETC International College provides English language programmes to international students from all over the world.
Duties include:
- Welcoming late checkins / checking out departures.
- Logging guests in and out of the residence.
- Ensuring students adhere to relevant curfew times and reporting where necessary.
- Working with group leaders and other ETC staff to protect the welfare of the residents.
- Acting as point of contact for group leaders and students and deal with any issues that arise, in a diplomatic and professional manner.
- Ensuring all correspondence and messages are handed over to other ETC staff members after the shift.
- Answering and dealing with enquiries on the out of hours emergency phone.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to use your own initiative and work effectively individually, as well as a team
- Must have a high level of written and spoken English
- Vigilant and attentive attitude.
Desirable:
- First aid trained (not essential; training will be given).
