About The Role:


Are you an experienced administrator with excellent digital skills looking for a new challenge? Do you thrive on change and providing excellent service to the children and families of Dorset? If your answer is yes to these questions, then an exciting opportunity has opened up within Children's Services for a Management Information Assistant based in Dorchester.

This post will be required to support Children's Services Managers and services by ensuring information and actions are captured effectively, accurately and completed within set timeframes.

The post will be based in County Hall in Dorchester with some remote working from home.

The types of activity will cover:

  • Tracking of pre proceedings, court work and permanency
  • Monitoring of data and ensuring data integrity
  • Hold ownership of the trackers
  • Support meetings and record actions
  • Follow up and chase outstanding actions
  • Provide regular feedback and updates on progress
  • Produce reports and provide feedback to Senior Managers
  • Other administrative duties as required
Have the ability to interpret data, retain information and produce accurate, high quality work.

Be able to communicate effectively, with the confidence to deal with a range of contacts.

An effective organiser who is able to manage their own workload effectively, prioritise tasks and work to defined deadlines.


Further Information:

Occasional travel to attend meetings or training events will be required.

Interviews will also include testing.

This is a full time role at 37 hours per week.
