Description

Full Stack Web Developer, £35k to £45k plus excellent pension, 3 days per week in Fulham, London, 2 days per week from home
Avanti Recruitment is working with a successful marketing agency based in Fulham, London.

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer, who has passion for their work, to join the team.

This person needs to work efficiently in a team.

He or she needs to be able to adapt quickly, as new projects are constantly being added to the agenda.


Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of crossbrowser coding
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with build tools like Webpack or Gulp

Responsibilities

Day-to-day:

  • Writing code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP;
  • Deciding on the best technologies and languages for the project;
  • Problem solving;
  • Fixing bugs in existing projects;
  • Testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases;
  • Researching, incorporating and contributing to Open Source projects;
  • Meeting designers, developers and project staff for progress updates;
  • Gathering requirements from clients and users;
  • Learning and testing new technologies, frameworks and languages;
  • Staying up to date with new trends and advancements in web development;
  • Refactoring and optimising existing code;
  • Documenting code so other developers can understand and contribute to it;

Additional Info


You will also have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, as well as software programs like the Adobe Creative Suite.
