We are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic secondary school in Gateshead which prides itself on the quality of Education delivered to its students.

You will be part of a really motivated and driven school cover team and will gain unrivalled experience during your time here.

As a

Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to:

  • Take responsibility for groups or classes of students
  • Be organised and proactive
  • Take registers where needed
  • Liaise with teaching staff regarding work set for a class
  • Manage the behaviour of students to ensure an environment that is conducive to learning and good conduct
  • Respond to any questions and deal with any immediate problems or emergencies in accordance with the school's policies and procedures

You Must:


  • Be able to inspire and motivate and build rapport
  • Have high expectations for students learning achievement and behaviour
  • Be passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people
  • Be creative, friendly and approachable
  • Be available at least 3 full days per week
In addition to that, we are currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants
