Description

More Recruitment are looking for professional HGV 1 Trampers to join a well-established, family run national haulier.

You must hold:


  • Valid HGV 1 licence for minimum 1 year,
  • UK digital tachograph card,
  • Full DQC (CPC card).

Required Experience:


  • Curtainside Trailers
  • General Haulage
  • Timber
  • Paper Reels
  • Cardboard
  • Ratchet Strapping.

Role involves:


  • Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
  • Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
  • Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner
  • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Freelance


Salary:
£15.00-£16.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Boston: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver CPC and Digi card (preferred)
