We're looking for a talented Senior Sous Chef to join the culinary team at a leading events company and visitor attraction in Maidstone.
With a stunning on-site restaurant and exciting pop-up dining experiences throughout the year, this is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and ambitious chef to showcase their skills in a dynamic environment.
About the Role:
As Senior Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences across our restaurant, event spaces, and seasonal pop-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations across multiple outlets
Support and develop a passionate brigade of chefs
Maintain excellent food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards
Assist with menu creation, stock control, and cost management
Deliver consistency across restaurant service, events, and pop-up activations
About You:
Proven experience as a Sous or Senior Sous Chef in a quality-led kitchen
Experience working in event catering, visitor attractions, or multi-outlet operations
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and creative menu development
Flexible approach – 5 days over 7, including weekends and event days
