Position:


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor existing trade flows and perform daily cash management for lead bank relationships, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.
  • Administer loan management including timely surplus cash withdrawals, loan drawdowns, loan rollovers and repayments in coordination with Accounting, Treasury and relevant financing banks.
  • Manage and monitor existing portfolio utilisation for lead banks, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Develop and deepen existing bank relationships through effective communication to ensure evolution of lead relationships is commensurate with business growth.
  • Assist and project manage origination, structuring and execution of commodity finance transactions across all new and existing product areas, including (but not limited to): Preparing and presenting transactions; Assisting with structuring financing solutions; Assisting with commercial negotiations; Project managing borrowings for new and existing transactions among all relevant internal and external stakeholders; Assisting with documentation negotiation and execution.
  • Manage collateral across bilateral and syndicated trade finance facilities, as applicable.
  • Collaborate with CGL subsidiaries in supporting local financing requirements.
  • Assist with issuance of contingent instruments and the handling of documentary collections, as applicable.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve CZ organizational goals.
  • Attend training courses which are identified as being necessary for the performance of the role.
  • Ensure to be fully conversant with the Employee Handbook and supporting policies, including Health & Safety legislation and fire and emergency procedures.
  • Comply with any reasonable instruction issued by your manager.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with the following skillset and attributes:


Essential:


  • Graduate or post graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or Law
  • Business level fluency in English (both written and verbal)
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong I.T. skills including proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Selfstarter with the ability to use initiative for problem solving
  • Resourceful, innovative and proactive
  • Personable with the ability to build relationships and communicate at all levels both internally and externally

Desirable:


  • Ability to speak a second language
  • Understanding of financial and/or accounting principles
